Upcycling Workshop: Flowers Edition

This 3-hr, eco-friendly class is perfect for both complete beginners as well as adults who have sewn in the past but need a refresher. You will learn how to competently use a sewing machine and upcycle a sweatshirt from secondhand materials with your own flower design.
Location: Jet Black Studio in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio (Exact address provided after booking)
Prerequisite: NONE!
What you’ll learn: Basic sewing foundations, machine safety, all of the necessary sewing terminology & equipment needed to upcycle your own patchwork garment.
Course Duration: 3 hours
What’s Provided: All fabric, machines and sewing supplies for in person classes are provided. You don’t need to bring a thing! Due to the fact that we source secondhand materials, fabric/color choices vary from class to class. Mimosas offered for those over 21! *Discounts offered to those who bring their own sewing machine or sweatshirt, see below.
