Upcycling Workshop: Tote Bag
All levels welcome!
This 3-hr class is perfect for both complete beginners as well as adults who have sewn in the past but need a refresher. You will learn how to competently use a sewing machine and upcycle secondhand materials into a customized tote bag, with an option to add various appliqués/patches of your own choosing. The fabric you select here when registering for the class will be the main body fabric of your tote bag; we will have many additional options for appliqués. Final tote bag dimensions: 14.5′′ x 16′′.

Prerequisite: NONE!
What you’ll learn: Basic sewing foundations, machine safety, all of the necessary sewing terminology & equipment needed to upcycle your own tote bag.
Course Duration: 3 hours
What’s Provided: All fabric, machines and sewing supplies for in person classes are provided. You don’t need to bring a thing! Due to the fact that we source secondhand materials, fabric/color choices vary from class to class. Mimosas available for those over 21! *Discounts offered to those who bring their own sewing machine, see below.
